It's the most wonderful time of the year!
I can't wait for Christmas, because I pretty much get off on giving gifts to people, and I can't wait to wake up for our first Christmas in the new house! We put up a tree that we accidentally didn't pay for (Bubs already called me The Grinch), and the lights are all hung up outside on the front porch and in the bushes!
This holiday always makes me miss my mother, but I went out and got a few Snoopy and Woodstock items in her honor and put them up around the house, and on the tree. My aunt said that she would have been really proud of my house, and the way that I set it up for the holidays. If you're from Miami, and if you knew my mother, then you'll know what I mean when I say that our home was turned into Santa's Enchanted Forest every year! She also threw the BEST Christmas parties for all of our neighbors, family, and coworkers. I'll get there, one day!
All of my Star Wars stuff is out, and I fully intend on purchasing the large Darth Vader Christmas lawn ornament that they're selling online (I'm also baking Wookie Cookies).
I'm so excited to spend the holiday with Pablo's family again this year, and I'm really grateful that my Aunt Bonnie just cunt-punched cancer, because that was really the best gift that I ever could have asked for! Pablo and I are attending Gianna and Alex's Christmas party, as well as my company holiday party this weekend, and it should be a nice little treat. I'd even like to have some of our friends over for egg nog (barf, I'll be having vodka), and the lovely Cousin Eddie ensemble that Pablo has put together, complete with hat and random tube for "emptying the shitter." God damnit, I love that man.

Family Weekend!
So Pablo and I both invited our families over for dinner on Friday night. I'm so stupid for not taking pictures of it! Pablo's mom and my sister really hit it off. It's hard not to hit it off with Margaret, because she rules. Saturday night was full of unexpected plans, and the end result was: Baking! We ordered pad thai from Suppunnahong (my favorite), and made delicious Chocolate Hazelnut Peanut Butter Brownies! Yeah. Boom! That happened! Thank you Jason for bestowing your delicious treats upon our household! My KitchenAid Mixer is his new best friend, and I think we'll be seeing a lot more of him! Alex and David hooked up their Zelda Wii-U to the TV in the Living Room, and we all played it together, which was awesome. However, at some point it transitioned into a melee of Soul Calibur and Marvel vs Capcom 3 on the Xbox360. Jahida and I just can't get enough of our fun time asswhoopings! On Sunday, we went to my nephew's baptism, and I became a godparent! After we left, we had lunch together at Swensen's in Coral Gables, then hit up the Miami International Auto Show. 'Twas a great weekend...now back to the grindstone.

Thank you, Danny.
My dear, sweet, Danny Garcia (who would probably laugh his ass off for me referring to him that way) made a great Top 10 Dolphins List for shit that's gots ta go. I agree, wholeheartedly. Fucking "Fins Up," derp derp. Hank Goldberg's had it right for years: we should just refer to it as, "The Stadium Formerly Known As Joe Robbie." Fuck a "Sun Life," "Pro Player" (yeah, no shit), and a "Land Shark." Chevy Chase was the ONLY reason I even put up with that last bit of fuckery. For more sports talk with Danny Garcia, check him out on 640AM now, he moved recently, and on Twitter: @640SportsBomber:
Danny says:
Here is my top 10 list of things with Miami Dolphins that have to go......
1. Jeff Ireland & The Entire Scouting Department
2. Dawn Aponte & All Parcells hold over Front Office
3. Joe Philbin & Mike Sherman (Coaching Staff)
4. The Brito on the Stadium
5. "Fins Up" includes The Stupid "Fins to the left Fins to the right song"
6. These New Uniforms (go back to 80s & 90s uniforms)
7. Jonathan Martin & Richie Incognito
8. Carblanche for Ryan Tannehill (he need to earn his job with a new Coach)
9. All Jeff reland Bust picks we are "waiting on" (Mike Egnew, Jon Jerry, Daniel Thomas and more....)
10. Rename the Stadium Joe Robbie again. We have been jinxed ever since we changed the name of the stadium, Joe Robbie brought Football to SoFl. brought Don Shula Dan Marino and 2 Super Bowls, and he built that Stadium with his own money Disrespectful to call it anything else.
Danny and I with the hilarious Mercury Morris at The Roast of Manny Fernandez by the Touchdown Club. Manny tried to shoot him with a BB Gun from across the room that night, haha! Clearly, I'm a professional photographer!

Belated Birthdaywarming!
Clarice and I went to go see the Casualties and Negative Approach on Friday at Churchill's. I needed to get out, and it was awesome to hang with my little lady! We saw a lot of old friends and had a lot of Strongbows, haha! It was much needed girl time. On Saturday, Billy and Larissa, Jahida, Tom and Julia, Tasty, Gianna and Alex, Alex and David, Pablo and I enjoyed a nice evening of pizza, rum, and This Is The End. Holy shit we had a lot of people over! Pablo and I finally got to relax a little bit, and I'm glad we got to show off our new bedroom set and tiki vibes! I can't wait until we have everyone over at the next one, so we can show off all of the badass things we did in the yard today! Owning a home rules. Now back to Gremlins 2 and my magnificent man...

Tiki Birthday Roadtrip!
Today was my lover's birthday! We took a drive down to the keys for Pablo's birthday with his parents, his brother, and his godparents. I even got to see Sam on Islamorada! When we got back, we had beers and Coldstone cake with Abuela Polly, Tia Ana, Alex, David, and Enrique. Overall, it was a pretty freaking amazing day, and I'm so glad that I got to spend it with my other family and the most wonderful man on the planet!

Arts and Draughts
Danny and I went art gallery hopping in Wynwood on Saturday. I picked up some great books and small pieces of art. Then we had lunch at my beloved Daily Creative Food Co.
Danny won runner-up in the Time Warp Contest during half time at Clarice's derby bout! Clarice is a raging badass I'm so glad that I got to see her smash girls to the ground like that. She's my little ass kicker!
Spoiled rotten.
HAHAHA! Pablo's face...sigh. Jahida and Joe stopped by our new house to have a few beers! The End.

Riot Fest 2013
Riot Fest was ridiculously amazing. Doyle walked out and played Misfits songs during the Danzig set (Andee, Jyl, and I are still trying to get our voices back), The Selecter tore it up (pretty sure I danced a hole in the ground), and The Replacements...the fucking Replacements. I instantly regretted sending Todd a picture of me flicking him off with Adam, since he couldn't be there, so I got him a sweet shirt. I had seen all the other bands a scrillion times, except The Violent Femmes. Man, they were fantastic. T.S.O.L. got a very loud sing-a-long from Adam and I, and Suicidal Tendencies were just as thrashtastic as they always are. Screeching Weasel, my beloved Pennywise, Bad Religion, and Rancid all kicked ass, as usual. The Pixies had a terrible issue with their sound, and that bummed everyone out for a while. I scored a sweet Mephiskapheles shirt that I intend on wearing FOREVER. Joan and Debbie, man. Clarice and I finally got to see our favorite girls TOGETHER. The whole weekend was phenomenal, and I can't wait to go back. I even dragged Andee and Clarice to Second City so I could stand on the stage that my comedic idols stood on. After we left Second City, we picked up a ton of sweet vinyl at Reckless Records down the street. Yes, I made trash bags look like runway material due to the rain, and yes, we had a few social hiccups (that's a nice way of putting it), but having Pat Joyce, Matt Saint, and Bobbie Brutality out there to show us around was just what we needed to make it one of the best weekends I've ever had.
Trip to Chicago = Success. Da Bears. I'm out.
Also...I refused to buy the concert shirt because of how large Fall Out Boy and Blink 182 appeared on it. Way to stink it up, Riot Fest. I still can't believe they were headlining.

Celebratory Viewing of "Evil Dead 2"
I'm cuddled up on the couch with the lover, eating my favorite salad from Bahama Breeze, watching "Evil Dead 2," and feeling rather lucky. Life is good.
A Mental Mind Fuck Can Be Nice.
Be sure to check out my little Clarice (zee blonde on the right) at her bout on October 5th, against the Gainesville Roller Rebels in Fart Lauderdouche! Oh, and DRESS UP!

The Best Day Of My Life...So Far.
Pablo and I got the keys to our new house today!!! I must say, this has been one hell of a ride. 2 years ago, I never could have imagined what it was like to be as connected to another person as I am to my wonderful Pablo. I'm so proud of him for chasing his dreams, and finding a career that makes him happy, and inspires him. I'm so grateful to his family for raising the most generous, passionate, loyal, and supportive man that ever lived. Knowing that I've found my soulmate is the best feeling that I've ever experienced! I can't wait to continue on this excellent adventure!
...and in Pablo's words:
"Less than a year ago, my keys didn't make much sound but now I'm overwhelmingly happy, grateful, and proud to know that my keys have the very distinctive jingle of having my family nearby, owning a sweet ass Huffy cruiser, being an elementary school music teacher and being a homeowner with my soul-mate.
...oh, and don't worry, there's still enough space on my key-ring for that very special key with the "DMC" logo on it because where we're going, we don't need roads."
Just so you know, I'm well aware that I'm the luckiest lady on the planet.
