Bogie and Bacall were my favorite celebrity couple. As sad as I am about her passing, I'm glad that she lived a long life, and is now reunited with her fella. She was someone who I looked up to, and who helped me be strong about voicing my opinion about topics that are too taboo to other people. My mother had a great deal of respect for her, and that was passed on to me. It's saddening that we lost both Robin Williams and Lauren Bacall this week, but I know that Lauren had an amazing life, and that Robin is no longer carrying a burden of pain that none of us can understand. RIP guys, it feels like I lost family, but I know that your legends will carry on for generations to come. Thank you for the inspiration. And Robin, my fellow Legend of Zelda turbonerd: I hope that you have found the solace that you are looking for. I know what depression feels like, and I wish that someone could have been there to talk to you at that moment of weakness. Watch over your kids, they still need you. On that note: I'm goin' on safari motherfucker! SAH-FAR-I!
