Bright Side

We went to drop off birthday gifts for Pablo's mom last night, and we were given Margaritas in water bottles for our date night, from Pablo's dad! If we couldn't drink them with his parents, we were going to drink them no matter what, per Pablo Sr! HA! We went to see the oh-so-talented Monty Python Live (Mostly) and believe me- I broke out into song multiple times. What an amazing freaking show! To show our Python Pride, we wore our best accessories (I'm so glad we're both nerds). Check it out!

Happy Birthday, Miss Chris!

I super love my little banana curled woman! I can't wait to see her again next month for STIFF LITTLE FINGERS, Bad Religion, and Pennywise...and Offspring (I hope they only play stuff from Smash). The Vandals were supposed to play, and that's another one of the bands that we ALWAYS see TOGETHER (since they tried stealing us for their tour).

Unbeweavable.

Ok, I've seen it. You're walking down the road, and there goes a tumbleweave. Ladies (and gentleman, you are not excluded): STOP taking out your weaves and hair extensions, and throwing them on the ground. 1. It's gross...like REALLY gross. 2. It does this:

This mama got so tangled up in someone's fake hair, that she injured her leg. Good thing dad stuck around to watch their owlets, and the family was ok when she returned. Check out the rest of the story on Broward New Times: Broward New Times: Owl Rescue

Oh, Bollocks.

I had Gianna, Sharon, Andee, and Clarice over last night. Jan and Jean were going to come, but the Terribly Girly Miss Valentine is an animal rescuer and went to find a foster home for a dog (my hero). Pablo made the ladies and I Rosemary Burgers with Colby Jack Cheese (yum), and we watched Movie 43. Holy Fucktown, that movie made me spit out my Rum and Pineapple! It never gets old to watch Liev and Naomi (my new favorite couple) be creepster parents, or to watch Hugh Jackman's pendulous balls swing back and forth, much to Kate Winslet's dismay. Good Times with The Broad Squad (like usual).

Recap From Family Night

Pablo, his brother Danny, my sister Debbie, my niece Emily, Margaret, Pablo Sr., Abuela, and my nephew Nick all came over last Friday night. I forgot to put this up, but we had an awesome night! We love hosting family dinners, and we were glad to do it again!

I Love Greg.

Things That Happen In My House While I'm At Work

Well, my two favorite music teachers have been practicing their jazz for their group The Moonshine Players during the day, while they're off for the summer. Have I mentioned how Pablo is the best person to ever live? Yeah? Ok, good...just making sure.

LeBron Of The Rings!

So Nick is excited...a little premature, but excited, nonetheless. LeBron might leave Miami, and go back to the haters in Cleveland. Even if they DID talk shit, Miamians will talk more. I can't say anything, because when Jason Taylor went to the worthless, brainless, smelly, stupid, ugly Jets, I was pissed. But when he came back, I shut my fucking mouth so fast, and pulled his jersey out of the back of my closet (it had been banished) to cuddle up with it. So as I was saying, even if he DOES leave the team who actually helped him get some rings, I would still feel happy for our beloved Nick. Because...well...The Browns and The Indians. Speaking of which, I honestly don't think The Indians have won a game since Pedro Cerrano brought Jobu to the locker room.

Heartbeats and FIFA

So my dad went back into the hospital for more heart issues yesterday afternoon. My sister and youngest niece will be staying with Pablo and I at our house for the weekend, and it makes me more confident about his heart condition when she's close by. By the time I got to the hospital, he had already put on the soccer match. I've always loved soccer, because I played for years as a kid/teen, along with other sports. We bonded, like we know how...sports. He felt better after Argentina won, and I left to go home. Pablo made some DELICIOUS dinner for me, and we fell asleep on the couch with Luna.

...and all was well in the Tiki House.
