Almost There.
Well, it's about that time.
The first time Pablo and I really spoke to each other was on Christmas Eve in 2011. A few days after New Years, we hung out at a tiki bar, listened to a Rick Moranis comedy album, and the rest is history. We still high-five when we like the same things, we still laugh hysterically whenever we're around each other, and we still act like it's the first day that we ever realized how awesome it could be to hang out with someone exactly like ourselves. Since we have no clue what the actual date was when we started dropping boyfriend/girlfriend, we're gonna round it off to New Years. After all, we were on the phone the whole night with each other. From the moment that I wake up in his arms, to the moment that I fall asleep in them, I feel beyond grateful to Andee for letting me know that her friend Pablo thought I was hot and wanted to hang out with me (HAHA!). Every day keeps getting better, and I know it's going to keep getting better each year. I can't wait to get all fancied up for dinner next week!

I'm so happy that I get to spend Christmas with Pablo's family this year! It's been SO great sharing all the holidays with them, so now Christmas is going to be that much more special! I just wish my mom was here, because I know she would have adored Pablo's silly, wonderful ass. Even my grandmother told him that!

My Beautiful Kristi
I'm going to miss this angel of a woman more than words can express. She lifted me up when I was at my lowest, she carried me to the highest heights, and is forever going to be my kind, generous, and beautiful lady. I'm sad to see her go, but I know that this world still has MANY adventures for her. Thank you so much, Kristi. You are the true definition of friend, as well as sister. I can't wait to hear the tales of your travels and give you turbo Jenni hugs when you come home! Have fun with your Honey!
She's even beautiful when we're running at full speed, filming a crackhead chasing close behind us in Miami City Cemetery. There's no one else I'd rather wake up next to with peanut butter and nutella in my hair after a Slackers show. I'm so thankful that she loves to take care of me. Lastly, there's no one else that could ever take the special place in my heart that happens to be in the perfect shape of my Kristi. Safe travels, my love!

RIP Dave Brubeck
Dave Brubeck, you were a master of music, and have helped create some of my favorite memories of me getting to hang out with my jazz pianist grandfather. He would play "Take Five" for me whenever we would spend time together. Your music will always live on in my heart, and in the hearts of everyone who has ever heard it.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I miss my mother and grandmother SO much today. However, I'm happy to be spending this Thanksgiving with Pablo's family. It's our first Thanksgiving together! It's nice having a second family, since I've lost most of mine. The holidays are usually really hard on me. However, the holidays feel a lot more warm these days!

Since people are still bitching and crying about the election on Facebook, I am going to post a little something I came across recently. This will be my last post about the election on any site. I had to, because it's Henry Rollins.
"Republicans did the best they could to keep people from voting. From sending out mail with the wrong date to cast your ballot, to actually attempting to intimidate people at the polls...it didn’t work. The American people kicked your ass. That has to hurt a bit. To hurl all your bully bullshit with such force only to see people stand in line for hours to vote, undeterred. Your disrespect for the Constitution and law is incredible. Congratulations, you have no credibility and on top of that, you lost. After all that money you spent in an attempt to steal an election, you still got beat. The fact that you went through all this for the sake of Mitt Romney must make it all the more humiliating.
Republicans, these are your people: gay hating, vagina fearing phonies with their strange idea of rape, who double down on dumb at every given opportunity. Well, at least you’ve got Clint Eastwood, Meatloaf, and some Nascar-driving dipshits to keep you company. I know 1865 was hard to walk off but come on, y’all, stop embarrassing yourselves! Citizens United didn’t work. Hey, Koch brothers, Karl Rove, Shell Game Adelson: DEMOCRACY TRUMPS MONEY SOMETIMES. And the whole time, the president never lost his cool."

Jyl's Coming To Town!
I see drinking and destruction in the near future. Drinking, destruction, side-ponytails, burping contests, Jyl's special face that makes me die while we're in bright public places, high fives, headbanging to thrash metal, jumping fences, throwing eggs (or cold cuts), Andee's convincing "Let's become blood brothers" speeches, spontaneous tattoos, Jyl bitch-slapping me, inappropriate "dances" to Miami Booty Bass, drunk dialing, freestyle rapping and breakdance fighting, singing every word to Akinyele's "Put It In My Mouth," and me force-feeding Jyl something that should never be consumed...yeah, I see all that.
