Birthday + Broads

Friday Night at Churchill's, Saturday: A Birthday BBQ with my Miami Sunset High School posse, and Sunday for rest and relaxation at Pablo and Jen's House of Tiki! Some of the most memorable moments are not EVER going to be published. Such as: video of Joey singing Bonzo Goes To Bitburg in my face and screaming that I'm the best person in America, to Andee singing "Tomorrow" from "Annie" at the top of her lungs, while wearing Pablo's Bob Ross wig, and then the now-infamous timeline of 1. Fabio starts to playing with The Gazms 2. Fabio stops to sing "Happy Birthday" 3. Jyl jumps on stage with a cake with all of the candles already blown out 4. I attempt to blow out the candles anyway 5. Sam smashes cake into my face 6. I punch Sam in the face with a fistful of cake. 7. The cake falls. 8. Jyl eats cake off of Churchill's stage, insisting that it is still edible. 9. Jessica never breaks her maniacal laughter. 10. Band keeps playing 11. Chaos ensues.

We made a birthday toast at the house when all of my out-of-towners got there.
Making-up Jessica.
Sunset and Killian in the house!
Ridiculous.
Orlando got to walk up on Jyl with her #phonedick HAHAHA!
Love these broads!
Classic Corey!
Ugly Cry!
Eating cake is hard.
Ray, Pablo, Mr. Chad Backer, and Todd decided to have a game of catch outside in the back yard during the BBQ. Pablo is an EXCELLENT chef, by the way. I struck gold!
SNUG LIFE with Jessey, Jyl, Sharon, Andee, and Gianna!
Todd, Jyl, Ray, and Chad.
Oh Joey. Joey...

Always one of my favorite stories (with 2 of my favorite women):

“I owe Marilyn Monroe a real debt…it was because of her that I played the Mocambo, a very popular nightclub in the ’50s. She personally called the owner of the Mocambo, and told him she wanted me booked immediately, and if he would do it, she promised she would take a front table every night. She told him - and it was true, due to Marilyn’s superstar status - that the press would go wild. The owner said yes, and Marilyn was there, front table, every night. The press went overboard. After that, I never had to play a small jazz club again. She was an unusual woman - and ahead of her time and she didn’t know it.” - Ella Fitzgerald

Happiness: Priceless.

"Again, in movies they like to portray marriage like 'oh the wife and husband are always arguing and bickering,'" he said. "For me and my wife...the easiest part of my life is my marriage. Like if everything was as smooth and easy and fun as my relationship with my wife then I would have a much easier time getting through the day. We really get along and we like the same stuff." Funny...I know exactly what you mean, Seth!

Dead I Mention?

Did I mention that I saw the Dead Milkmen a couple of weeks ago? No? Well, I'd like to add that I'm not over it yet. Pablo and I had a great time at Grand Central with our friends!
