For a group of people who like to refer to our president as a Nazi, you guys sure like to oppress people for what they believe in, and for openly trying to be who they are. Are segregated water fountains the next step for you, Arizona? Can we just let these guys secede already? You know they're still crying about losing the war.

"This allows any public employee adhering to an extremist religion, including Nation of Islam, Christian Identity, or Odinism to refuse providing service to an Asian, White, Black, Jewish or Hispanic person."

RIP to my dearest Harold Ramis, one of my beloved comedy heroes. You may not have been a Gatekeeper, or a Keymaster, but you truly were a god. RIP, Harold Ramis. I grew up with you in my living room. You gave me SO many of my favorite comedies, and I'm forever grateful for it. I can rest easy knowing that so many of my other beloved SNL and SCTV comedy gods are taking care of you on the other side.

Whatta Weekend!

I had an amazing weekend, once again, surrounded by the people I love! What a fantastic Valentine's Day weekend!! First, Pablo and I had planned on going to see The Slackers night 1 (they played Friday AND Saturday, they love Churchill's). However, due to "steak comas" we ended up staying home and relaxing together all night. On Saturday, Danny and I went to Piyo class, then I introduced him to my new salad joint, and we finished up at Plato's Closet, a thrift store in Miramar. THEN we went to see The Slackers on night 2 at Churchill's...fucking awesome. Sunday, I went on a Family Day outing with Pablo's folks and Danny to Vizcaya, and to my beloved Daily Creative Food Company. Vizcaya was breath-taking (again) and it was the perfect weather for a romp in the garden! I even saw my ridiculously talented friend Ali working on wedding makeup while I was there!

Poop Party 2014!

Pablo's back in the studio with my favorite boys, Pool Party! It warms my heart that my best dudes ask for his musical assistance! I can't wait to hear what they come up with. Funniest. Dudes. Ever. 14 years of disco dancing in my pantsing! The only hiccup in the night was when I had to open-palm punch a dude in the face for spilling beer on me 3 times. Oh, the douchey youth at punk rock shows that get checked by their elders...

Valentine's Date Night! (...and then some)

My beloved Slackers are playing on Valentine's Day AND the day after. Needless to say, I will be attending both shows, which are being held at my beloved Churchill's. Lots of love here, people!
